Top: J.Crew Lace-stripe tissue tee in Buff (also worn here and here)
Cardigan: J.Crew
Necklace: three tiny pearl "peas" in a silver "pod"
Skirt: J.Crew denim pencil
Navy blue micro-fishnets
Shoes: J.Crew Camden brogues
Year 2 of this shirt; it's one of the few I don't mind wearing loose (normally I'm a tucker-inner). In fact it tends to look funny tucked in because of where the lace stripes fall—it'll work with something high-waisted though.

Shirt: J.Crew boy shirt in Indian voile
Cardigan: J.Crew Jackie in Dark Charcoal
Earrings: made by me (silver chains, green amethyst, aquamarine) (didn't come out in the pic)
Skirt: gifted
Nude fishnets
Shoes: Cole Haan
J.Crew has stocked these shirts for a while, and I spotted this bluish minty green one...I want to say a year ago, but it's been sitting in my closet, and I'm not any more sure.
In any case, I rather like it, though I don't see buying tons of this model. It's papery thin, a tad difficult to iron...I don't see starching the collar, so it just sort of flops over. It's pretty, though; I don't generally like mint green, but the blue tone elevates this above plain old mint, and the onion-skin fabric feels refreshingly cool. Minor details: a front pocket (even this mundane feature seems to be missing from clothing these days), and the faint sweet scent of Indian cotton, reminiscent of a sunny field.

Top: J.Crew Bettina cami in Warm Taupe
Cardigan: J.Crew Jackie in Wild Mushroom
Skirt: J.Jill (also worn here)
"Nude" fishnets
Shoes: Cydwoq Category
I feared this would be a flavor of Dullsville, what with the matchy J.Crew pieces—even the "nude" fishnets aren't nude, but rather an echo of the same chocolate-ice-cream brown with a bit of rose. But there's something enlivening about that shade; it brings color to your face.
Top: Banana Republic (also worn here)
Cardigan: J.Crew Jackie in Pearl
Earrings: made by me (tiny freshwater pearls on gold chains)
Skirt: gifted
Light grey fishnets
Shoes: Cole Haan
I don't wear this top often, because I like it, and have seen nothing like it since I acquired it (mid-2008). I mean there have been swathes of sleeveless tops with designs in the center, and I look at them...eh...this one is special. So I've nursed it along, swapping it around with other lace tops...I have a small series:
And I'm currently idly drooling over this:
J.Crew Naomi top in Turquoise Pool
...or the Champagne one—the turquoise is less common though, eh?
Top: L.L. Bean
Cardigan: J.Crew Jackie in Wild Mushroom
Necklace: made by me (smoky and rutilated quartz, small pearls, random "madeira" citrine and red garnet, grossular garnet)
Skirt: Gifted
Shoes: Cydwoq Category
Not how I normally look on the weekend, but there was an occasion, which ultimately involved eating at Burger Meister in Berkeley (hence the title of this post). Pretty sure I'd ordered the salad, but they gave me fries, which I, ah, totally consumed. Mmmmm!
Top: Brooks Brothers
Cardigan: J.Crew Jackie in Pearl
Necklace: made by me
Skirt: gifted
Shoes: Cole Haan
The necklace is another of those "spring" things, like this:
I made it from a green donut (aventurine?) and some Thai silver flower and leaf beads. The idea was to have the flowers sort of messily blooming from the center of the donut. It's not a pendant per se, being attached to a silver chain...ya know, it's absurdly difficult now finding good chain. I'm going to buy online next. mumbles...
* Lister: That's good, I thought I was goin' strange.
Cat: She's incredible!
Lister: What do you think of Betty?
Cat: Betty Rubble? Well, I would go with Betty...but I'd be thinkin' of Wilma.
Lister: This is stupid. Why are we talking about going to bed with Wilma Flintstone?
Cat: You're right. We're nuts. This is an insane conversation.
Lister: She'll never leave Fred and we know it.

Reminiscent of my Bueller outfit, which I see was nearly a year ago.
