I've finally bitten the bullet and forayed into the J.Crew FINAL Sale.

Normally, I would not let my dog shop the Final Sale online. (I don't actually have a dog, just saying.) There's something monumentally insulting about it, at least on the face of can it be worth it to buy something you can't return?

But, I've decided, so what. Apparently I am now what they call a "JCA," meaning I know what a popback is, have benefited from the secret coupon in the print catalogue, have a pretty firm grip on their sale cycles, not only call it a "Jackie" but own several (in discontinued shades, yet)...I think I'm okay with this.

The worst-case scenarios are: it's too big (I'm eternally between sizes in just about everything anywhere), in which case I can shrink it. It's silk, which shrinks handily. In the freakish case it's too small, my daughter can have it. Come to think of it, it was a popback. They still have Orchid Shadow up in a few sizes if you're interested.
