There's always the sun

ootd

Jacket: distressed leather
Turtleneck: Eddie Bauer
Necklace: labradorite (made by me)
Skirt: Punkin NYC
Boots: Cydwoq

Punkin NYC is no more, apparently. Even Smashing Darling has departed: one of the first independent clothing websites I'd seen (and where Punkin NYC sold me this skirt).

More's the pity. The genius of the skirt (reviewed here, and here) lies within its dual layers. Sure, it appears light-weight jersey, with a perfectly fluted design and versatile dark-green hue—but the shine occurs when frigid wind is blasting right at it. That's when you want two layers.
